Title of the paper: Introduction to journalism concepts and practice
Course outcome:
- To introduce concepts of mass communication and general and journalism in particular
- TO impart fundamentals of journalism, evolutionary ,process, basic concepts, practices and recent trends
- To expose students to different facts of Journalism
- to develop inquisitive an analytical skills to be successful in media.

Course outcome:
- Understanding the concepts of computer
- Develop and understanding of the applications of computer in print and electronic journalism

- Apply information technology skills in print and broadcast projects

Course Outcome:
- organize and articulate new stories .Understand the concepts, structure and types of news
- Formulate skills for news selection, process and design the end product ,identify the basic ethical issue and how they can practice fair play

- Understand the role of editors. Edit copy using correct grammar and write usage of words.
- Be able to write clear and accurate headlines and captions.

This course is to provide student with the fundamental understanding of advertising and its place in business ,branding and society.
